Welcome back to school!
Last week, we celebrated the start of the new school year by doing a read aloud of the book I don´t want to go to school! by Stephanie Blake. It´s about a little rabbit called Simon who doesn´t want to go to school. The second graders enjoyed story time in Central Park. We really enjoyed acting out Simon´s obstinate answer “I´m not going!” But we all agreed that we are really happy to be back at school!
