This trimester, the fourth graders have been working on the Poems of Jack Prelutsky in Literacy. They read, analyzed, illustrated, and memorized the poems in small groups. Then, they performed them in front of the whole class. Our favorite poem was called Homework! Oh Homework! We really hate homework!

MONKEY PUZZLE

The third graders have been working on the family and physical descriptions. The book to start this unit is Monkey Puzzle by Julia Donaldson. We really enjoyed Alejandro´s read aloud and talking about the plot of the story afterwards. We love story time!
